Round 5 and 6 - Lake Bryan
**Updated 7/21/09**
The Texas Hydrocross Series is returning to Lake Bryan July 11 and 12 for Rounds 5 and 6. The Southern Professional Outboard Racing Tour will also be joining the Series at this event with the Outboard Performance Craft Super Stock Tunnel 120 class and the ever crowd pleasing Texas TriHulls!! Last years SST 120 class was easily achieving speeds over 120 mph and in the main saw 9 boats battle it out for 20 laps. This included 4 boats having 9 lead changes within the race.
If you have not been able to experience the TriHulls and the SST-120's this is your event. The event schedule is laid out to have PWC racing, then OPC racing, alternating thoughout the day. The course is designed to keep all the racing and scoring done in the same place by having the 1/4 mile rectangle for the Tunnels in the center of the SuperCourse Endurance track. Then to relax at the end of the day with live music. Beginners are welcome!!!!
Sport Spec class is being offered again at this event so dont let those old ski's sit around collecting dust.
The Rescue X training program will be conducting a course marshal academy on Friday beginning at noon and will run until 11 pm. Those interested please contact us. Course cost is per person. Plan on being wet.
The Big Boy Toy Show was June 28th at the Brazos Center in Bryan Texas. Many thanks to the Sports Marketing Class at Texas A&M and Lydia Dubuisson for their assistance and insite for the radio ads, flyers, and on site assistance with the booth. Also many thanks to John, Michael, and Bob Schubert for loaning us the SST-120 Tunnel and Wesley Hamff for the Honda F12X for the display. We made contact with over 1000 people getting the word out about our races.
